In the fast-paced world of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, community support can make all the difference. The Fantom Foundation’s latest Gitcoin grant round is an exciting opportunity for all Wigo enthusiasts to contribute to the project’s growth and development. In this article, we’ll guide you through the process of creating your Gitcoin passport and casting your vote to help Wigo thrive.

Step 1: Obtaining Your Gitcoin Voting Tokens

To be eligible for participation in the Gitcoin grant round, you’ll need GitcoinVote (GcV) tokens. Each voter is required to have a minimum of 100 GcV tokens to contribute to a project. Note that contributing more than 100 GcV tokens will not yield additional benefits.

Get GcV Tokens: Send a message to Edward on Telegram to receive your GcV tokens.

Step 2: Creating Your Gitcoin Passport

With your GcV tokens in hand, you’re now ready to cast your vote for Wigo. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to create your Gitcoin passport:

1. Visit the Gitcoin Website: Go to https://passport.gitcoin.co/ to begin the process.

2. Sign In with Ethereum: Click on “Sign In with Ethereum” to proceed.

3. Choose Your Wallet: Select your preferred wallet option and sign the request that appears in your wallet’s popup.

4. Verification Process: Click “Next,” and a window will appear prompting you for a Web3 verification.

5. Complete Web3 Verification: You’ll be presented with a set of relevant stamps that you must assign to your passport to increase your verification score.

6. Enhancing Your Score: To vote successfully, your score must reach 17. You can boost your verification score by connecting Web2 applications and accounts. A comprehensive list detailing how scores are calculated can be found here:
